The International Student Institute has many goals that include creating a welcoming, supportive environment for international students, increasing the number of international students at 杰克逊的大学, collaborating with academic departments regarding the expansion of globally focused curricula and providing a forum for intercultural dialogue and understanding in order to foster intercultural awareness within the 杰克逊的大学 community.
